Cardi B has opened up about a terrifying experience that almost led to a miscarriage. The rapper, who recently announced her third pregnancy, shared the harrowing details during a chat on X Spaces.
After revealing the news of her pregnancy, Cardi B also disclosed that she was involved in what she described as a ‘freak accident.’ The incident was so severe that it left her needing morphine.
Without going into specifics, Cardi B said, ‘I had a fucking freak accident. I don’t know how something—well, it wasn’t little, it actually hurt… It doesn’t really happen often, but it became so big to the point I was literally paralyzed.’
The singer indicated that the accident almost resulted in a miscarriage, saying, ‘And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But it didn’t. Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite.’
Despite returning home, Cardi B’s ordeal wasn’t over. She added, ‘Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a fuck. I’ma exaggerate this shit so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn [laughs].’
This revelation came shortly after Cardi B confirmed that she’s expecting her third child. She announced her pregnancy through a glamorous maternity photoshoot featuring her baby bump against the New York City skyline.
The announcement came just hours after news broke that she had filed for divorce from Offset for a second time. Cardi B addressed her unborn child in the post, hinting at the divorce by mentioning an ‘ending’ but focusing on the joy her pregnancy brings.
