ATLANTA – In the midst of Young Thug’s intense RICO trial, Mariah The Scientist has made her loyalty crystal clear.
Young Thug hasn’t had much luck lately. With highly publicized RICO charges looming over him, his recent plea for release on bond was denied. The judge, Paige Reese Whitaker, who took over the case after two previous judges stepped down, remained firm in her decision, declaring, “I am not going to reconsider any bond issues that have already been ruled on absent legitimate changed circumstances.”
Despite this setback, Young Thug has a steadfast supporter in Mariah The Scientist. She was all smiles during his latest court appearance, visibly showing her support. Mariah has consistently stood by her boyfriend, making it known that her dedication hasn’t wavered. Speaking to Access Atlanta last year, she affirmed, “I feel like, and this is in all honesty, there is nobody on planet Earth that can get between me and supporting my man. I’m sorry, it’s just not gonna happen.”
While Mariah cheers him on from the outside, she’s been dealing with her own legal challenges. In May, she was arrested for her alleged involvement in a brawl at a club and was later charged with simple battery. Maintaining her innocence, Mariah pleaded not guilty in July and her lawyer, Brian Steel, demanded a jury trial.
Young Thug’s trial continues to be a major talking point. Though the rapper’s legal battles are far from over, it’s evident that having Mariah’s unwavering support provides a significant emotional boost amid the turmoil.
