Soulja Boy didn’t mince words when he responded to B. Simone’s recent comments on her podcast.
In her latest episode, B. Simone shared a memory of doing a magazine cover shoot while listening to a gospel playlist. She claimed no one on set had any complaints. Simone then threw shade by adding, “Nobody said ‘Why are we listening to this? Man, put on Soulja Boy.’ I don’t think anybody’s ever saying put on Soulja Boy… I don’t know why I said that.”
Despite backpedaling and calling Soulja Boy a “hip hop legend” and a “trendsetter,” the damage was done. Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live, fiercely addressing Simone’s comments.
In a passionate rant, he called out Simone for disrespecting him. He attacked her career, appearance, and even accused her of trying to hook up with him on the set of Wild ‘n Out, a claim he says he turned down. “‘We ain’t never said turn on Soulja Boy.’ We ain’t never said turn on B. Simone, who the f*ck is you?” he shouted.
He didn’t stop there. Soulja Boy expressed his frustration further, saying, “If a n***a don’t want to f*ck you, a n***a don’t want to f*ck you… So I’ve got to f*ck you for you to get on the internet and say something good about me? […] If you ain’t got something nice to say don’t say nothing at all.”
Clearly, Soulja Boy was not happy and wanted to set the record straight. His explosive reaction reveals how deeply Simone’s words affected him.
