Eminem’s latest venture is turning heads as he prepares to face off against his alter ego, Slim Shady, in a digital roast battle.

The full roast battle, created with “Complex,” is set to drop on July 29. Earlier this month, Eminem released his new album, The Death Of Slim Shady, where he attempts to take down his iconic alter ego. Now, he’s taking this theme to another level.

In an 11-minute “roast battle,” a Slim Shady deepfake will sit across from Eminem, and the two will go head-to-head. The teaser, released today, shows them arguing about getting canceled. “Only when the dust settles do we discover which one wins the war for the soul of Eminem,” Complex teases.

Fans are thrilled by the creative use of artificial intelligence and are eager to see what happens next. The digital battle promises to be a fun addition to the already successful project.

The Death Of Slim Shady earned Eminem his 11th No. 1 on the Billboard 200, breaking Taylor Swift’s 12-week streak. It moved 287K copies in its first week alone, even without physical sales, as hard copies have yet to ship.

Eminem’s achievements continue with his 42-second-long interlude “Trouble,” now the second shortest song ever to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The anticipation for July 29 is building, and fans can’t wait to see who comes out on top.

Eminem’s digital roast with Slim Shady is one of the most unique events in music right now, promising entertainment and surprises. July 29 can’t come soon enough.
