Boxer Ryan Garcia has caused quite a stir with a wild claim about Lil Wayne supposedly giving him the go-ahead to use the N-word.
Garcia, known for his controversial behavior, sent social media into a frenzy on July 4th by using the N-word in a rant and making outrageous comments about the Ku Klux Klan. “I hate n-ggas. I’m anti-Black,” Garcia said during an X Spaces broadcast. His unsettling remarks didn’t stop there. He added, “I’m KKK, n-gga. I hate n-ggas […] Let’s go bring George Floyd back to life and kill that n-gga.”
Garcia’s inflammatory language continued on X, where he wrote, “I love n-ggas” and “Lil Wayne said I can say the N Word.” This shocking behavior led Meek Mill to address the issue on Instagram Stories, questioning Garcia’s sanity. Meek commented, “Doing anything for money can mess your brain up and now you really broke-n. This life ain’t for everyone it’s cool to be normal and smart!”
Apologizing later and claiming to be “trolling” didn’t save Garcia from facing serious consequences. The World Boxing Council took swift action by banning him from any activities with their organization. “Exercising my authority … I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization,” said WBC president, Mauricio Sulaiman.
Other prominent figures also spoke out against Garcia’s comments. Former NBA player Stephen Jackson criticized Garcia in an Instagram video, urging him to get help. Jackson stated, “You need to get some help, bro… Anyone that gotta bring up the dead is dying inside. You’re a clout chaser. That’s all you are. You’re looking for attention.”
While the uproar continues, Lil Wayne has yet to respond to Garcia’s claim. The incident highlights the dangerous impact of reckless comments on social media, and the swift backlash shows that many will not tolerate such behavior.
In a world where words carry weight, Garcia’s outburst serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of reckless and harmful language.
