Irv Gotti is in hot water as allegations of sexual assault have surfaced, shaking the music mogul’s world. The former partner, known only as Jane Doe, is accusing him of a series of serious offenses over a two-year period. Gotti, however, isn’t taking these charges lying down.
Irv Gotti, real name Irving Lorenzo Jr., has categorically denied the allegations against him. A spokesperson for Gotti told TMZ that the claims are nothing more than an attempt at extortion. According to the spokesperson, Jane Doe only filed the suit after Gotti allegedly refused to pay her off. “The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies,” they stated.
The lawsuit was filed in Miami-Dade, Florida, and accuses Gotti of sexually assaulting the woman on multiple occasions between 2020 and 2022. The alleged incidents took place in locations like Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta. Jane Doe claims the two met at a poker tournament in 2020, where Gotti invited her on a vacation to Saint Martin. During this trip, she alleges, he coerced her into having sex with threats of sending her back home if she refused. “Due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied,” the suit asserts.
As their relationship progressed, Jane Doe says it was marred by “constant abuse.” She alleges Gotti repeatedly forced her into “unwanted sexual acts” and often berated her. The relationship finally ended in 2022, but the trauma, according to her, persists. Jane Doe claims that Gotti slandered her to his extensive social network in Los Angeles, which has left her fearful of leaving her home. “As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward,” the lawsuit reads.
Gotti isn’t just denying the claims; he’s also considering legal action of his own. He plans to fight what he calls a “baseless” lawsuit and is even mulling over a defamation countersuit. “Mr. Gotti’s relationships with women have been characterized by mutual respect, honesty, and empathy,” the spokesperson said. They also mentioned that Gotti has strong ties to women in both his personal and professional life, noting his mother, five sisters, and daughter, as well as his top female employees.
As this legal drama unfolds, another voice has entered the chat: 50 Cent. Ever the provocateur, 50 Cent took to Instagram to mock Gotti. “Oh no [flushed face emoji] … The legal fee’s are gonna break his ass in half, he ain’t got no money. Welp that all folks,” he wrote. He even teased the idea of a docuseries about Gotti and his record label, adding yet another layer to this public feud.
With both sides digging in for a potentially long legal battle, the outcome remains uncertain. For now, Irv Gotti stands firm in denying the allegations, preparing to clear his name in court.
