In a recent video posted by 50 Cent, retired detective Bill Courtney reminisced about his days investigating the NYC hip-hop world. Courtney made it clear, saying, “50 Cent never cooperated with anybody and I would know if he did.” He further explained that he had the entire music industry investigation on lockdown, and there was no way 50 ever talked to the cops.
Courtney also called out the Gotti brothers, Irv and Chris, founders of Murder Inc. Records, for their ‘stupid things’ that brought unnecessary attention from law enforcement. He mentioned that these acts included using easily traceable two-way pagers to communicate. He commented, “They messed with the wrong guy.”
50 Cent didn’t miss a beat, using Courtney’s revelations to take aim at his longtime adversaries. In his caption, 50 fired shots at Kenneth ‘Supreme’ McGriff, James ‘Jimmy Henchman’ Rosemond, and Damion ‘World’ Hardy, saying, “See the facts always come out, I wasn’t raised like that. I’m not in Preme, killer Rat ass Jimmy, or World’s paper work. Oh yeah all roads lead to Sherevport.”
The history between 50 Cent and McGriff is intense. McGriff is widely believed to have ordered 50’s assassination when he was shot nine times outside his grandmother’s house in 2000.
Supreme McGriff was also linked with the Gotti brothers and their Murder Inc. label, notorious rivals of 50 Cent’s crew. This deep-seated beef has simmered for years, with McGriff also supposedly tied to the G-Unit boss’s longstanding feud with Ja Rule.
Damion ‘World’ Hardy has his ties too. He was allegedly involved in the 2003 shooting at a New York hotel targeting 50 Cent. Hardy was also charged with killing Darryl ‘Hommo’ Baum, who reportedly fired the nine bullets that hit 50 Cent.
50 Cent and Jimmy Henchman’s saga is just as fiery. After The Game was ousted from G-Unit, Henchman managed the Compton rapper, leading to an explosive feud. Henchman was later jailed for ordering the murder of 50 Cent associate Lodi Mack.
