Havoc, one-half of the iconic Mobb Deep, just dropped some explosive news that’s got fans buzzing. Live from The Alchemist’s studio, Havoc teased unreleased Mobb Deep tracks produced by the legendary beatmaker himself. This sneak peek has everyone from DJ Premier to Conway The Machine losing their minds.

On a lively Monday, Havoc took over Instagram to share the thrilling update straight from Uncle Al’s recording studio. In the video, he exclaimed, “I’m at ALC studios. New Mobb Deep coming soon. R.I.P. Prodigy. You see Al in the background. You already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon, baby. Infinite!” It’s no surprise that the comments section blew up with excitement. DJ Premier even called it the “best news!!!”

The Alchemist, never one to be left out, added fuel to the fire by posting a snippet of their new material on his own social media. Captioned, “And it begins….. @mobbdeephavoc @prodigymobbdeep,” the video clip left fans craving more. The Alchemist’s long history with Mobb Deep is legendary. He produced two tracks on their 1999 album ‘Murda Muzik,’ including the killer track ‘The Realest’, and even teamed up with Havoc for a joint album in 2016 called ‘The Silent Partner.’

Although Prodigy passed away in 2017, his presence still looms large in Havoc’s plans. Last year, Havoc confirmed that he’s been busy crafting a new Mobb Deep album featuring posthumous vocals from Prodigy. He shared on Talib Kweli’s People’s Party podcast, ‘I’m actively working on a Mobb Deep album now, as we speak. The family blessed me with a bunch of vocals [by Prodigy] and soon as I leave here, I’m goin’ back to work.’

Havoc also took a moment recently to pay tribute to Prodigy on Instagram, marking the seventh anniversary of his passing. ‘Missing my brother,’ he wrote, accompanied by nostalgic photos of Prodigy. ‘Today marks 7 years, feels like just yesterday we were rocking them stages and reflecting on our journey.’ Prodigy’s death was a heartbreaking accident, linked to his ongoing battle with sickle cell disease. However, his musical legacy continues to thrive, as Havoc ensures that Mobb Deep’s story is far from over.

With this new music on the horizon, fans have a lot to look forward to. The collaboration between Havoc and The Alchemist promises to bring back that classic Mobb Deep magic. As Havoc said, ‘Infinite!’
