Teyana Taylor casually blew everyone away with her cover of Miguel’s “Girl With the Tattoo (Enter.Lewd)” while waiting for her lace glue to dry. Shared on Instagram, the performance left the R&B star Miguel himself thoroughly impressed.
On June 6, Teyana Taylor took to Instagram with an impromptu rendition of Miguel’s 2010 hit. She was simply passing time until she could finish securing her wig, but her performance was nothing short of impressive.
In her post, Taylor humorously captioned, “I should’ve changed @miguel last line to ‘if they only knew, the girl with the lace glue. Yeahhhh I gotta find her’!!!!!! @nikkitaylor1234 hurry up so I can lay this wig downnnn womannnn danggggg!!” accompanied by crying laughter emojis.
Miguel, clearly impressed, responded with, “YEESH. UNMATCHED [black heart emoji].
This isn’t the first time Taylor has been catching eyes recently. Photos from late May of her in a cop uniform also stirred quite the reaction. The “Gonna Love Me” singer shared pictures on Instagram, posing in a bulletproof police vest and stylish clothes while leaning against a cop car. Her caption, “He said lady what’s ya number? …… I said 911 [kiss mark emoji] [clapper board emoji] [movie camera emoji],” suggested she was in costume for a film.
The photos led to an outpouring of comments from admirers.
