He stated that a feature alone would cost a hefty $75,000, and if someone wants him in a music video, they’ll need to shell out a staggering $1,000,000. He humorously added, ‘Just in case yall was wondering my feature price.. I take venmo and apple pay too,’ making it clear he accepts multiple payment methods.
This announcement sparked quite a reaction online. On DJ Akademiks’ Instagram page, users were quick to share their opinions. DDG is no stranger to discussing his earnings. In an April interview with The Shade Room, he hinted at his monthly income, saying, ‘I’m going to give you a wide range. I don’t want people to pocket-watch too crazy. On a low month, I’ll pull in a little hundred piece [$100,000]. On a high month, we can go anywhere from five [$500,000] and up.’ He emphasized his hard work and longevity in the industry, noting, ‘A lot of people don’t give me credit for what I do, but being relevant in the space that I’m in for as long as I have, a lot of people look at me as an OG.
