NBA YoungBoy’s fans have reason to be hopeful. According to an Instagram post by his cat, Neon, the rapper will be back at Grave Digger Mountain soon.
Back in April, NBA YoungBoy found himself in hot water when he was arrested at his Utah home. The charges included identity theft, forgery, possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, and more. At that time, he was already on house arrest awaiting trial on unrelated gun charges.
In May, he managed to secure a $100K bond in Cache County, with another bond needed from Weber County before he could be released. Fans have been eagerly waiting for good news, and it seems even his cat Neon is optimistic. Over the weekend, Neon’s Instagram account shared a much-anticipated update, claiming that YoungBoy will be home by this time next month.
“This time next month my dad will be home,” read the post.
Once NBA YoungBoy clears his legal issues in Utah, another challenge awaits him in Baton Rouge, where he faces federal gun charges. The court will soon decide if his pre-trial release will be revoked, with a scheduled appearance next month.
It’s worth noting that earlier in May, Utah Assistant State Attorney Clark Harms filed a motion arguing against his release before trial, stating, “Even strict federal pre-trial supervision was unable to thwart his criminal activities and associations.” He emphasized that YoungBoy is charged with a felony and there is strong evidence against him.
While NBA YoungBoy’s return is eagerly anticipated by fans and even his cat Neon, his legal battles are far from over. We’ll have to wait and see how the courts rule in the coming weeks.
